Is Kejriwal fooling Delhiites in the name of power subsidy? Read what this man said!

A 50% cut in the power tariff up to 400 units was one of the many things that the Aam Aadmi’s Chief Minister promised. But what matters to people is not just making promises, but also fulfilling them.

One Raj Kumar Suneja accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of not keeping up to his power promises. He posted his June 2015 electricity bill on Facebook, showing a full amount of Rs 2480 was charged from him, despite the usage of 393 units of electricity in one month.

Suneja called the Delhi government to be a government of loot and lies in his Facebook post. He posted, ‘According to Kejriwal’s announcement, there should be a 50% cut in the power tariff if the electricity used in one month is up to 400 units. According to the reading in this bill, the total units used are 419 units. But 419 units were used in 32 days, and only 393 units were used in 30 days. Therefore, I should have got a 50% cut in the tariff, which means a discount of Rs 1200. But I have been charged the full amount.’

It might be recalled that within eleven days after forming the Delhi government, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal delivered on its big-ticket election promises – cheaper power and water. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had announced 20000 litres of free water for every household and a 50% discount on electricity bills for the families who use less than 400 units.
So, what is it, Mr Kejriwal? Is AAP in another crisis?
